Swedish Lyrics
When I write down the Swedish lyrics, I do it in proper written Swedish. Meaning, I don't do any contractions and I don't write anything in spoken language.
Because if you are learning Swedish, it's important to learn the proper spelling of words from the start and I don't want my lyrics to be misleading. Also, this is the easiest way to be consistent with how I spell.
For the most common contracted words and irregular pronunciations, there is the pronunciation page.
More uncommon words/contractions will be marked in cursive in the lyrics, and there will be a pronunciation notice below the lyrics that explains the pronunciation.
If you have any questions about Swedish pronunciation, feel free to ask!

English Translations
When I do my English translations, I don't always translate word by word, I translate to convey the meaning while still using proper English grammar and word-order.
If it is possible to translate word by word without losing anything on either side of the equation, I try to do so. But I prefer a natural sounding translation over one that's 100%, word by word correct.
As you all know, it can be hard to translate a song perfectly. If you disagree with one of my translations, feel free to let me know and either it was a mistake and I'll fix it, or I will explain why I translated it the way I did.
